Why is Ruslaan Mumtaz marrying his fiancée Nirali in court?

Television actor Ruslaan Mumtaz, who is playing the male lead in Sony TV’s show Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara, will be marrying his fiancée Niral Mehta on Valentine’s Day. The actor says that they were asked what date they would prefer to get married. Since, the couple has been celebrating Valentine’s Day all these years; they chose to exchange vows on February 14, albeit in the registrar’s office.

Now, why a court marriage, you may ask?

Well, Ruslaan’s parents had a court marriage and since he is so much used to the grand weddings on TV, that he preferred having a simple court marriage for himself in real life. But, this boy knows how to make his girl happy. Ruslaan told a daily that Nirali was desirous of having a traditional wedding. Therefore, he and his family are looking forward to realize her dreams. This clearly implies that now the beautiful couple will also have a proper Gujarati wedding on March with all the rituals and the works.

After the wedding festivities, the newly married pair is set to fly off to the Maldives for their honeymoon.

Ruslaan Mumtaz to marry on V-day

This Valentine's day is a special one for Ruslaan Mumtaz, as the TV actor is all set to tie the knot with his fiancee Nirali Mehta on that day. Their court marriage is on February 14, which will be followed by a traditional ceremony on March 2.

Ruslaan says, "We were asked what date we wanted, and we thought why not Valentine's Day? Since we anyway celebrate that day, we wanted our official wedding date to be February 14." Sharing his wedding plans, the actor says, "I wasn't keen on traditional rituals - my parents had a court wedding. We actors get to enact grand weddings on screen, so for us, it's not a big deal. But Nirali is a Gujarati and she wanted a traditional wedding and to dress up as a bride, so we are doing a wedding ceremony as well."

Wedding season is on in the tellydom!!!

Earlier in the day we wrote about Jay Soni’s upcoming betrothal with his belle Pooja Shah on 18 February.

And now comes the news that smart looking actor Ruslaan Mumtaz (Jee Le Zara) is also on the path of disappointing legions of his female fans as he too is going to enter the blissful world of matrimony with his long time girlfriend Nirali Mehta on 2 March 2014.

Ruslaan exchanged rings earlier with Nirali, a wealth manager and his girlfriend of nine years. The engagement was a quiet affair with only close family members in attendance.

We tried calling Ruslaan to get his confirmation but he remained unavailable.

Ruslaan Mumtaz got engaged to his long time girlfriend Nirali Mehta yesterday.She’s a wealth manager by profession and the ceremony was a quiet celebration at home with just family members to share their joy. The actor has kept his relationship under wraps mainly ‘coz he wasn’t accepted by Nirali’s family initially. The Mehtas were unsure ‘coz Ruslaan hailed from the glamour industry and the parents were a little skeptical.

Ruslaan met Nirali at Shiamak Davar’s dancing academy. Apparently, the choreographer was instrumental in getting the two love birds together.

Looks like the stars are finally shining on the actor. His personal life is all sorted and the actor is soon becoming a household name with the new gained popularity from his show, Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara.

Ruslaan gets engaged to girlfriend Nirali

Actor Ruslaan Mumtaz has finally made it official. He has exchanged rings with Nirali Mehta, a wealth manager, his girlfriend of nine years. The ceremony took place at his residence recently. The engagement was a quiet affair with only close family members present.

Ruslaan, who is currently seen in Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara and has always shied away from talking about his love life says, "I used to be very uncomfortable talking about my personal life. Yes, I got engaged to Nirali. I will hopefully get married in April or May this year."

The two had met at Shiamak Davar's dance school and Shiamak was instrumental in getting the couple together. According to sources, Ruslaan and Nirali have been wanting to make the relationship official for a long time, but Nirali's parents were a bit reluctant as Ruslaan belongs to the glamour industry. Ask the actor about this and he says, "I convinced them finally that though this is my profession, I am a simple guy at heart and will keep their daughter happy."

We all know how crazy can some fans get. Seems like the Kehta Hai Dil…Jee Le Zaraa actor has found himself a brand new crazy fan!

Actor Ruslaan Mumtaz, the latest heartthrob on telly, is so popular that his fans come from far away places to meet him.

One such fan was Nancy Dutta, a London resident, who travelled all the way to Jalandhar in Punjab, to meet Ruslaan, who was accompanied by his Kehta Hai Dil…Jee Le Zara co-star Sangeeta Ghosh.

When Dutta came to know that Ruslaan will be in Jalandhar she packed her bags and landed there.

“As an actor, I really respect and love my fans. They play a very important role in my life. I always wanted to talk and interact with my fans. Nancy keeps interacting with me on a regular basis on Twitter and Facebook,” Ruslaan, seen as the male lead in the Sony show, said in a statement.

“I think it is quite overwhelming that someone is taking time off from their daily chores and putting in so much effort for me. I follow all my fans on Twitter and always try to acknowledge their love and support,” he added

Ruslaan to bare abs on telly IANS | Mumbai November 16, 2013

Actor Ruslaan Mumtaz is ready to pull of his shirt and flaunt his six-pack on the small screen. He is likely to be seen in a bare torso sequence in the romantic soap "Kehta hai Dil?Jee Le Zara".

The show is aired on Sony Entertainment Television.

According to a source, Ruslaan has built toned abs following a strict body-building regime, and now it's time for him to showcase the same.

The scene will be shot in few days, said the source.

The shot will also involve actress Sangeeta Ghosh, who plays Saanchi, his love interest in the show.

The scene will bring Saanchi face-to-face with Ruslaan's character Dhruv after he steps out from the bathroom. It is an awkward and embarrassing moment for them.

Ruslaan has earlier featured in films like "MP3 - Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar", "Teree Sang", "Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai" and "I Don't Luv U".
